Seasonal sessions run on selected evenings throughout Spring and Autumn, with locations and dates released throughout the season.

Seasonal Mini Session Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms before booking your seasonal mini session.
Session Duration
Seasonal mini sessions are 20 minutes in duration. These sessions are designed to be short, relaxed and focused on capturing the key family portraits.
Arrival Time
Please arrive on time and ready for your session. As mini sessions run to a strict schedule, late arrivals may result in a shortened session or may need to be rescheduled.
One Family Per Session
Each booking is for one family only. If you require photographs of multiple families, separate sessions must be booked.
Image Selection & Editing
Images are professionally selected and edited by Abbey Crute Photography. Final editing decisions are at the photographer's discretion, and edited images cannot be re-edited or altered upon request.
Rescheduling & Refunds
Due to the limited availability of seasonal mini sessions, session fees are non-refundable, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
If a session needs to be postponed due to unsafe or unsuitable weather conditions, an alternative date will be offered where possible.
Online Gallery
Your private online gallery will remain available for 72 hours following your session for viewing and image purchases. Please ensure you select and purchase your images within this period.
Digital Images
Individual digital images are $49 each.
There is no minimum image purchase.
Full Collection
Love them all? Your entire collection is capped at $499, regardless of the number of images in your gallery.
All purchased images are supplied as high-resolution digital files.

What to Wear
Choosing what to wear doesn't need to be stressful. The best outfits are comfortable, simple and coordinated rather than perfectly matching.
Colours That Photograph Beautifully
Soft, neutral and timeless colours work particularly well. Some of our favourites include:
- White
- Cream
- Denim
- Navy
- Light blue
- Soft neutral tones
A beautiful all-white or neutral theme can create a light, elegant and timeless look. For example, boys look lovely in chinos or shorts paired with simple white shirts.
A Few Things to Avoid
For a clean, timeless look, we recommend avoiding:
- Large logos or visible brands
- Slogans or graphics
- High-vis clothing
- Very bold or distracting patterns
- Clothing with prominent characters or trademarks
- Multiple competing colours or patterns
And Most Importantly — Be Comfortable!
Our sessions are relaxed and may involve sitting or playing on the ground, particularly when photographing little ones.
Mums, if you're wearing a dress or skirt, longer flowing lengths can be especially flattering and practical for family photographs.
Don't overthink it. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and like yourself — your photographs will be better for it.

Weather & Seasonal Sessions
Outdoor sessions are weather dependent
We love those beautiful golden, balmy evenings — but unfortunately, Australian weather doesn't always cooperate!
Our seasonal family sessions are held outdoors in the late afternoon and early evening, making the most of the beautiful natural light.
Sessions run from 5:00–6:00pm
The exact session time within this window will be confirmed when you book.
If rain or unsuitable weather is forecast, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling your session to the next available date.
